Having taken a break from karting after a long career in the British champs and top level Club racing Luke stopped racing with a top finish of vice champion in TKM extreme at Shenington club champs, as well as winning the Shenington Superprix in the clubman class! Luke was then an early adaptor and supporter of 115-UK and has been right at the sharp end from day one
Having won the inaugural O plate, Macey cup, Dragon cup and 115-UK championship in an incredibly tight battle that when right down to the wire in 2024 Luke has clearly been a pace setter and we hope he enjoys sporting the 1 in 2025!

Having started karting in Honda cadets, I moved into TKM as a junior in 2006 with a Wright Braga, winning 4 club championships before moving into senior TKM at both club level and for the last few years in the NKC championship. However, the modern CIK chassis and sticky tyres just haven’t been as much fun for me as the older style chassis with tyres that slide around more, and when I discovered Access Karting had introduced the 115UK class for 2024, it didn’t take me long to decide to dig out my old kart from the shed and get it ready for racing again.
My main aim for 2024 was to just enjoy racing and iron out any issues with the kart, but it didn’t take long to start taking it more seriously, winning the O Plate and missing out on the championship by just 2 points. I’ve really enjoyed myself in 2024, using my old kart, racing against some seriously competitive drivers, but I think most importantly finding a super friendly group of like-minded people, both in 115-UK and across the whole paddock, who I enjoy spending time with every few weeks. Access Karting has reminded me how karting should be
