What makes a hall of famer I heard you ask

One or more of the following

  • 4 Wins

  • 2 Plate Victories

  • 1 Championship

  • 30 entries of more

Kye Turner

Wins - 5

Plates - 2

Championships - 1

Entries - 6

Kye is the first entrant into the GX-UK Cadet to enter the Hall of Fame having won the Macey Cup and the first 3 championship rounds in the class, here what he had to say about his entry.

I love motorsport because my dad watched it when I was younger.

Over time, I watched it more and more, now spending 3-5 hours daily.

I started with rental karting when my dad stopped at Daytona Tamworth for a call, taking part in the bambino class, and its all I’ve wanted to do ever since.

I’m always working to improve and moving to owner karting was the next logical step for me.

I’m always analysing videos my dad takes, looking to adjusting my technique.

I discovered Access Karting when they visited Stretton for the first ever GX-UK event where I met Brad Philpot, and got help with setup.

We then met James Purchas and James Cannon, who helped show us other series and opportunities and later became part of the launch of GX-UK Cadets.

The rest is history. In the future I would want to race anything quick and I’m working hard to be the first ever GX-UK Cadet champion :)

Milo Purchase

Wins - 3

plates - 1

podiums - 7

championships - 1

entries - 15

Milo started out his cadet driver back in march of 2022 as one of the smallest and nervous cadets you’ll ever likely meet. Since then he has taken part in various series such as rookie racer and Natska to gain confidence and speed.

2025 saw a turning point for this driver where he really kicked on and started to take race and time trail wins in both AK and his other racing.

In 2025 he finished first in every pre-qualifying event during the season and took the inaugural championship of the new format for cadets within the series.

2026 and the switch the Vega tyre will see him hunting for lap records and then a potential move up to juniors later in the year to ready himself for 2027 and the challenges that brings.

congratulations on your first title to Milo and he will be one to watch in the future.
